Hygienic Sight Glass(also known as a sight viewer) is an industrial pipeline monitoring device composed of a stainless-steel housing, viewing glass, and valve components. The primary materials used areSUS304, SUS316L stainless steel, or steel-lined PTFE.
This product features sanitary connections(such as flange, welded, or clamp-type), supports installation inhorizontal, vertical, or any-angle orientations, and is suitable for pipeline systems in industries such aspetroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical. It operates under extreme conditions, includinghigh temperatures (-80℃ to +480℃), strong corrosion, and crystallization-prone chemical towers, allowing real-time observation of medium flow.
Usage Instructions
1. Cleaning
• Before use, lightly wipe the surface with alcohol-soaked cotton.
• Note: Avoid acidic cleaning solutions to prevent glass corrosion.
2. Installation
• Applyeven forceduring installation.
• Tighten screws diagonally to ensure uniform pressure.
• Avoid excessive forceto prevent damage.
3. Regular Inspection
• After installation, conductperiodic checkson the glass.
• Inacidic/alkaline environments, inspect for corrosion to ensure operator safety.
4. Gasket Selection
• For temperatures≤280℃, useasbestos or PTFE gaskets.
• For temperatures>500℃, usegraphite gaskets.
• Note: Thicker glass requires proportionally thicker gaskets.
